The Attachment Water Bottle

The Attachment Water Bottle Interactive Experience is a psychological analysis of my companionship with my water bottle. I used this object as the subject to analyze the four different type of attachment styles in a playful way.
Using my water bottle as the subject of my story, I could connect with viewers in a simple context. This helped to analyze attachment styles in a more appealing way. The initial idea of this project was to talk about my attachment to my water bottle which then transitioned into investigating all types of attachment styles. I realized then that using my water bottle was a perfect example to simplify my research in story form.

Through the process, I was trying to determine the most personal way to connect with my target audience. This meant focusing on packaging and branding. I hand drew a font that would give a comforting feeling to the viewer and I compiled all the pieces of the attachment water bottle into a box I made. The initial prototype captures the physical characteristics I wanted the box and its contents to emulate.
I was able to create my project successfully based off of my initial ideas. The construction and ideation process were solid and helped me grow further as a physical designer especially with prototyping skills. Ideally, this project would be produced at a higher resolution.
