WornWell

For my Innovation course at Parsons, the goal of our final project was to create a future artifact based off signals we see today. I created the WornWell Smart Hanger, a product that is paired with an app to track the number of wears a garment has. This was based off signals I see in the fashion industry and the growth of reselling platforms like Depop and ThredUp as well as clothing rental companies like Nuuly.

The Goal of WornWell:

Aiming to assist consumers with curbing their purchasing, The Smart Hanger is designed with added benefits. Through the app, users can see the number of wears their garment has, and the cost per wear. They have access to repair tools that WornWell offers and if their product is no longer a staple in their wardrobe, WornWell’s resell and recycling program makes it easy for consumers to recycle their garments. On the other hand, we’ll repair your well loved pieces if its time for a revamp

The app makes it easy to control the count say if you try something on but don’t end up wearing it.

WornWell is designed for a future for the planet.
