A studio class I took during my sophomore year at Parsons, our final project was an open-ended assignment which we could explore any topic. I choose to break down human attachment styles through the example of my water bottle in an interactive educational book.
I created the font and drew the stickers and water bottle as a way to give a childish effect while talking about a psychological topic, playing with the juxtaposition of human attachment. Considering that most attachment styles are developed from childhood I took this as a design opportunity to explore these ideas through the book.
At the end of the book, readers are meant to cut out the water bottle and stickers and decorate it themselves.
